Khazana invites you to join Ranee Ramaswamy and members of Ragamala Dance Company for an afternoon of game-playing! Ragamala’s latest performance in development, Written in Water, uses the 2nd century Indian board game Paramapadam (which was the original inspiration for the more familiar game Snakes & Ladders), as a fertile environment on which the work unfolds. Play Paramapadam and hear from Ranee and the company how the boards game inspired themes and choreography for Written in Water. Light refreshments will be served.
